As the words “stein til stein for alltid en så sier jeg dette spell er gjort ” escaped from his lips, his brother, caught in his forward trajectory, found he was unable to move neither arm nor leg, his considerable bulk crashing to the arena floor mere inches from Loki. The staff, which Thor had held aimed like a javelin, shattered under the impact. His momentum carried him to his back, his arms at an awkward angle, the remains of the staff still clenched in his fists. Loki scuttled backwards away from where Thor lay, his blond locks pooled beneath his head, face a grimace as he stared upwards into the sky, chest heavi

Prisoner of Vengeance Part 2, In Enemy Hands.
I stared out into space, quite literally, I thought with a slightly amused half smile, thousands upon thousands of diamond stars whirling by, as I peered out from the bridge of my speeding prison, the towering terror that was Kahn's Vengeance. Even with my back turned to him, I could feel those cool calculating jade eyes upon me, focusing intently. The chills racing down my spine were the unnecessary confirmation of that....... I could almost see him back there, leaning back leisurely in his Captain's chair, the bit of his sleek black hair that had hung so wildly in his eyes had been slicked back in its proper place, his long, muscula

Prisoner of Vengeance Part 3, Fighting Kirk's War
The young captain's usually striking bright blue eyes, lacked their usual boyish charm, looking exhausted today, as Starfleet as a whole was reduced to complete and utter chaos. His regulation transmitter had been beeping angrily since five yesterday, and he couldn't remember a time when it sat calm and still, not accusing him of raging careless failure. Right now, he stood in the newly reconstructed Daystrom Institute, his transmitter buzzing on the edge of the table, nearly about to fall off, while the captains and first officers of every vessel in the fleet, all spoke at once, in panicked tones, asking him the thousands of questions that h

Several hours later, I still contemplated these words on the bridge, watching from afar as Khan, Jaken, Blondie and a few other officers scrutinized a glowing blue holographic map. I wasn't really paying attention though, the wild pulsing of my heart drowning out even Khan's deep, velvety voice. I now knew why I had been blindfolded when first marched aboard the Vengeance.
I had only seen a glimpse of it, as Khan was careful to sling a muscular arm around my shoulders and whirl me back around to continue our walk the other way we'd came, back down the hangar and to the staircase. Yet I had seen it all the same, and clung to that fleeting im

The explosion shot violently across the scorching desert sky in fiery plumes, the image searing my eyes, and resounding in my afflicted mind. The deafening roar, the horrified, confused screams, the prolonged groan of mangled titanium making swift impact with the dunes, burning sand raining down, all of it culminating in such a symphony of sorrow, causing me to shake. The speeding starship, ablaze, screaming at breakneck speed towards its doom, desecrated, getting torn to silver shreds. There's a faint sound of shattering glass accompanying the more painful roars as an officer is thrown through the bridge window, dropping hard into the swirli

"Attack me."
My heart pounded violently, in a mad rush to escape my chest. Khan's dark velvet voice sounded far away as if commanding me from a great distance, and I struggled to make sense of any of it. I was baffled by these two words that simply couldn't belong together. I felt my breath quickening as I stared up at him from my place on the bench that had been moved to the middle of the Vengeance's hangar. I looked around at the six black mats that had also been placed there, two rows of three, and shook my head vehemently. He couldn't be serious.
"NO!!!! No, absolutely NOT!! I- I can't!!!"
My protest was pleading, yet stubborn and I cr
